Every night, our volunteers drive across Mumbai to feed, rescue, vaccinate and care for thousands of stray animals who have no one else.
Not estimates. Not aspirations. These are the animals we've actually reached — on the streets of Mumbai, every single day.
Bezubaan was born from one person's refusal to walk past suffering. Hema Chowdhary, a Mumbai resident, started going out alone at night — feeding the strays in her neighbourhood who had nothing to eat.
What started as one woman with a bag of food has grown into a registered NGO with a dedicated team of volunteers, a rescue helpline, veterinary partnerships, and vaccination camps — all serving the stray animals of Mumbai.
Today, Bezubaan operates out of Jogeshwari West, running daily feeding drives across Oshiwara, Andheri and surrounding areas — in the rain, in the heat, without pause. Every rupee donated goes directly to the animals.
From Juhu beach to the narrow lanes of Jogeshwari, from puppy litters under construction debris to injured dogs on busy roads — Bezubaan shows up. With food. With medicines. With their bare hands.
These aren't staged photos. This is Tuesday morning. This is Sunday night. This is every single day.
We cover Mumbai's western suburbs every day — no area too small, no animal overlooked.
100% of your donation goes directly to the animals. No middlemen, no overhead games. You donate — a dog gets fed tonight.
